Each of the following courses of action requires a setup or programming procedure before the rear integration module (RIM), dash integration module (DIM), or instrument panel integration module (IPM) can be put into normal service.
If the RIM is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the subsequent order:
• | Body control module (BCM) reprogramming--Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems. |
• | Personalization relearn--Refer to Personalization Description and Operation in Personalization. |
If the DIM is replaced, the following procedures must be performed in the subsequent order:
• | BCM reprogramming--Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems. |
• | Personalization relearn--Refer to Personalization Description and Operation in Personalization. |
If the IPM is replaced, the BCM reprogramming procedure must be performed. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems.
If the RIM, DIM, or IPM is reprogrammed, the BCM reprogramming procedure must be performed. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Computer/Integrating Systems.
The personalization relearn procedure must be performed if the RIM or DIM have been reprogrammed. Refer to Personalization Description and Operation in Personalization.
