Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.

  2. Object Number: 493753  Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the heated seat control module.
  4. Remove the fasteners from the heated seat control module.
  5. Remove the rear heated seat control module from the seat back.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 493757  Size: SH
  1. Install the heated seat control module (2) to the seat back.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the heated seat control module fasteners (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear heated seat control module to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  5. Connect the heated seat control module electrical connections.
  6. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement .
