Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 617895 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors to the steering column module (1).
  3. Loosen the retaining screw on the steering column control module. Slide the control module out of the retaining bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 617895 Size: SH
  1. Install the control module (1) to the steering column and tighten the retaining screw.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten screw to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors on the steering column control module.
  3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement.
  4. Program the steering column control module. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
