Removal Procedure
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement

- Remove the inner window belt sealing strip. Refer to
Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement

- Remove the window. Refer to
Rear Side Door Window Replacement
.
- Remove the two push pins (2)
on either sides of the assembly (1).
- Remove the rear window channel lower retaining fastener (1).
- Grasp the front, lower end of the window run channel at the center
pillar and pull out along the length of the header, stopping at the division
post.
- Grasp the top of the division post and pull forward, unseating
it from the reveal molding.
- Remove the assembly from the door in an upwards motion.
Installation Procedure
- Insert the division post
into the door opening.
- Push the assembly down until the upper assembly is past the flange,
this will ensure that the outer sealing strip will be properly positioned.
- Pull the assembly upward into the door flange, making sure the
division post retaining bolt is aligned with the slot and the locator aligns
with the notch in the door flange.
- Seat the run channel along the door flange.
- Press in the two push pins (2).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the rear window channel lower retaining fastener.
Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
- Install the window. Refer to

- Install the inner window belt sealing strip. Refer to

- Install the water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
