Important: This vehicle is equipped with express up, torque sensitive window on the front door windows.
When the battery or the power has been removed from the front door module, the front door module will need to be reprogrammed after power is restored and all repairs are completed.4.1. | Carefully pry the front of the assembly (4) rearward. |
4.2. | Pull the front of the assembly (4) outward. |
4.3. | Slide the assembly (4) rearward to remove. |

Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N·m (80 lb in).
Important: Ensure that the rubber insulators are properly attached to the window regulator clamps.
6.1. | Lower the window approximately two inches. |
6.2. | Seat the window fully rearward against the center pillar. |
6.3. | Adjust the window forward 2-3 mm (5/64-1/8 in). |
6.4. | Set the glass with the clamp fasteners. |
Tighten
Tighten the window clamp fasteners to 10.5 N·m (93 lb in).
