Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
3. Remove the front seat belt assembly. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Driver or Passenger .




Important: Note the electrical wiring routing during disassembly in order to ensure proper electrical wiring routing during reassembly.

4. Disconnect and remove the remaining electrical connectors that are attached to the seat back frame.
5. Remove the heated and cooled seat module from the seat back frame. Refer to Seat Back Ventilation Heating and Cooling Module Replacement .



6. Remove the 4 fasteners retaining the seat back frame to the recliner.
7. Lift up on the seat back frame in order to disengage the seat back from the recliner.

1. Slide the seat back frame down into the recliner and align the fasteners holes.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the 4 seat back frame fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

3. Install the heated and cooled seat module to the seat back frame. Refer to Seat Back Ventilation Heating and Cooling Module Replacement .
4. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .



5. Route and connect the electrical connectors to the seat back.
6. Install the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
