Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front center seat assembly. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement .
  2. Turn center seat over in order to expose the bottom of the center seat assembly.

  3. Object Number: 577817  Size: SH
  4. Remove the three fasteners (1) from the cupholder assembly.
  5. Turn the center seat over in order to access the cupholder lid.

  6. Object Number: 577815  Size: SH
  7. The center seat cupholder (1) has three clips holding it in place after the three fasteners are removed. A sharp tug on the cupholder (1) will release the clips.
  8. Remove the center seat cupholder (1) from the center seat assembly.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the center seat cupholder (1) to the center seat.
  2. Push the cupholder (1) firmly into position in order to engage the cupholder retainer clips.

  3. Turn the center seat over in order to expose the bottom of the center seat.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the three center seat cupholder fasteners (1).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners (1) to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  7. Install the center seat assembly. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement .
