Windshield Washer Solvent Level Switch Replacement. Cadillac DeVille 2005

Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2005 🢒 DeVille 🢒 Body 🢒 Wipers/Washer Systems 🢒 Windshield Washer Solvent Level Switch Replacement

Remove the right front fascia extension (2) in order to access the washer solvent container level sensor. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement in Bumpers.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer solvent level sensor.
Using a flat-bladed tool, gently pry upward on the lower edge of the level sensor between the sensor and grommet.
Remove the washer solvent level sensor from the washer solvent container.
Remove the grommet and discard.

Position the new washer solvent container level sensor grommet into the washer solvent container.
Use the washer solvent as a lubricant on the grommet in order to ease the installation of the washer solvent container level sensor.
Install the level sensor into the grommet and apply equal pressure in order to secure the level sensor to the grommet.
Connect the electrical connector to the washer solvent container level sensor.
Verify the operation of the level sensor.

Install the right front fascia extension (2). Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Extension Replacement in Bumpers.
