Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 470378  Size: SH
  1. Carefully pull down on the overhead console to release the four retainer clips.
  2. Notice: Care should be taken not to damage the flat wire harness.

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  4. Object Number: 470381  Size: SH

    Important: The sunroof switch and the vent switch must be replaced as a pair.

  5. Remove the screws (1) securing the sunroof switch (2) and the vent switch (2) to the backside of the overhead console.
  6. Remove the sunroof switch (2) and the vent switch (2) from overhead console.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sunroof switch (2) and the vent switch (2) to the overhead console.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws (1) that retain the sunroof switch (2) and the vent switch (2) to the overhead console.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 1 N·m (9 lb in).

    Important: Care should be taken not to damage the flat wire harness.

  5. Connect the electrical connectors.
  6. Install the overhead console into the opening in the headliner.
  7. Push in on the overhead console to engage the four retainer clips.
