Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 474822  Size: SH
  1. Open the instrument panel storage compartment door.
  2. Remove the 2 fasteners (3) from the CD changer bracket.
  3. Partially remove the CD changer (2) and the bracket in order to access the electrical connector (1).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connection (1).
  5. Remove the CD changer and the bracket (2) from the vehicle.

  7. Remove the 4 fasteners (1) from the CD changer bracket to the CD changer.
  8. Remove the CD changer bracket (2) from the CD changer (3).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 474823  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Secure the CD changer bracket (2) to CD changer (3) with the 4 fasteners (1).
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N·m (17.5 lb in).

  3. Partially install the CD changer (2).

  4. Object Number: 474822  Size: SH
  5. Connect the electrical connection (1).
  6. Insert the CD changer and bracket assembly (2) into the instrument panel storage compartment .
  7. Install the 2 fasteners (3).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N·m (17.5 lb in).

  9. Close the instrument panel storage compartment.
