Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292114 Size: SH
  1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the seal from around the heater core and evaporator tubes.
  3. Remove the bolts that hold the case together.

    4. Object Number: 292069 Size: SH
  4. Remove the upper evaporator case.
  5. Remove the evaporator core.
  6. Remove the evaporator case seals.

Installation Procedure

    Important: If replacing the evaporator, add refrigerant oil to the evaporator. Refer to Refrigerant System Capacities .

  1. Install the evaporator.
  2. Install new evaporator case seals.
  3. Install the upper evaporator case.
  4. Install the upper case bolts.

    5. Object Number: 292114 Size: SH
  5. Install the seal around the heater core and evaporator tubes.
  6. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
