2005 Cadillac DeVille Unable to Change the Driver ID Message - keywords DIC IPC personalization tech2

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

The option to change the Driver ID Message on a 2005 Cadillac DeVille cannot be found on the Tech 2.

It will be necessary to build the vehicle as a 2004 Model Year DeVille on the Tech2 in order to change the Driver ID Message. This will be resolved in the April '05 Tech 2 release.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
