IDLE SPEED SOLENOID WIRE MISSING

IF A CONDITION IS ENCOUNTERED WHERE THE IDLE SPEED SOLENOID DOES NOT OPERATING PROPERLY, CHECK TO SEE THAT THE IDLE SPEED CONTROL WIRE ASSEMBLY PART NUMBER 12008723 IS NOT MISSING FROM THE CAR. THIS WIRE IS NECESSARY TO ENERGIZE THE SOLENOID WHEN NEEDED. THIS JUMPER WIRE CAN BE SEEN ON PAGE 540 OF THE 1981 ELECTRICAL TROUBLESHOOTING MANUAL, FIG. 1.
