GROUP 6C - ENGINE FUEL - MISCELLANE

1. 1975-1980 EFI ECU CONNECTORS

Replacement ECU connectors for 1975-1980 EFI systems can be ordered through GMWDD; however, the standard operating procedure cannot be used to order the connectors. Orders must be made directly through an order interpreter from your local GMWDD distributor warehouse on a VIP "no code" basis and must include a parts description.

2. 4.1L V-6 CARBURETOR GASKET AND INSULATOR ASSEMBLY

A new carburetor gasket and insulator assembly for the 4.1L V-6 engine has been released. The new gasket and insulator assembly has a better gasket adhesion to the insulator assembly, which will alleviate vacuum leaks between the carburetor and intake manifold. All old GMWDD 4.1L V-6 carburetor gasket and insulator assemblies have been scrapped and replaced with the new assemblies under the new Part Number 25516626. The new carburetor gasket and insulator assembly has a "raised bar" added to the insulator to identify the revised part. See illustration below.
