THIS CHART, PRINTED AS FIGURE 7B-37, PAGE 7B-24 OF THE 1981 SERVICE MANUAL LISTS AN INCORRECT ENGLISH (INCH) CONVERSION FOR THE DIAL INDICATOR TRAVEL REQUIRING A PIN WITH 2 RINGS. THE DIMENSION INCORRECTLY GIVEN AS .257 INCHES SHOULD BE CHANGED TO .057 INCHES IN YOUR 1981 SERVICE MANUAL. THIS CHANGE IS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE SHADED AREA OF THE ABOVE CHART.
