REPLACEMENT SPOKES ARE AVAILABLE FOR 1985 "E" AND "K" SERIES EQUIPPED WITH SPOKED ALUMINUM (OPTION PG9). DUE TO THE SIMILAR CONFIGURATION OF THE INNER, OUTER AND CENTER SPOKES, THE FOLLOWING DIAGRAMS (SEE FIGURE 1) HAVE BEEN PROVIDED TO AID IN SELECTION OF THE PROPER REPLACEMENT SPOKE PART NUMBER. THESE DIAGRAMS ILLUSTRATE THE ACTUAL SIZE AND SHAPE OF EACH SPOKE AND MAY BE USED AS A PATTERN ON WHICH TO PLACE THE SPOKES FOR IDENTIFICATION. GMWDD PART NUMBERS MAY BE FOUND DIRECTLY UNDER EACH DIAGRAM. REPLACEMENT SPOKE NUTS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FROM GMWDD (P/N 1627909). CENTER SPOKE - P/N 1627912 INNER SPOKE - P/N 1627911 OUTER SPOKE - P/N 1627913 MAIN SPOKE - P/N 1627910 REPLACEMENT SPOKES SHOULD BE INSTALLED USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE: NOTICE: NUTS ARE NOT TO BE REUSED WHEN REPLACING SPOKES. 1. REMOVE DAMAGED SPOKE. 2. COAT THREADS OF REPLACEMENT SPOKES WITH LOCTITE 271 ADHESIVE (GMWDD P/N 1052624). 3. THREAD NUT ONTO SPOKE. 4. WIPE OFF EXCESS ADHESIVE FROM ASSEMBLY WHILE STILL WET. 5. POSITION SPOKE ASSEMBLY IN WHEEL. 6. ROTATE NUT OUTWARDS (TOWARD RIM) UNTIL FINGER TIGHT. 7. TIGHTEN NUT TO (5-10 IN.-LBS.) (APPROXIMATELY 1/2 TURN WITH A 1/4 INCH WRENCH). 8. ALLOW CURING TIME OF 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO HANDLING WHEEL ASSEMBLY.
