POWER WINDOW AND SEAT SWITCH PART NUMBERS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-1988 DE VILLE AND FLEETWOOD 1986-1988 ELDORADO AND SEVILLE

The following part numbers should be used when replacing the power window or seat switch in a 1985-1988 DeVille or Fleetwood:

The new DeVille and Fleetwood switches are compatible with the old switch mounting and connections found on 1985, 1986, and early production 1987 vehicles. Vehicles built in the 1987 production year after approximate sequence number 281300 are already equipped with these switches. All 1988 vehicles are equipped with the new switches also.

The following part numbers should be used when replacing the power window or seat switch in 1986 and 1987-1988 Eldorados/Sevilles respectively.

The 1986 Eldorado and Seville switches are to be used in 1986 model year vehicles only. Likewise, the 1987-1988 switches should be used only in 1987 and 1988 model year vehicles.
