WASHER BOTTLE REPLACEMENT STRAINER ADDITION (NEW P/N). Cadillac Eldorado 1986

SOME 1986-1987 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES MAY EXPERIENCE A FLUID LEAK AT THE WASHER FLUID CONTAINER. THIS CONDITION MAY BE CAUSED BY A CRACKED WASHER FLUID CONTAINER.

TO REPAIR THIS CONDITION, REPLACE THE CRACKED WASHER FLUID CONTAINER WITH A NEW DESIGNED WASHER FLUID CONTAINER. THE NEW WASHER FLUID CONTAINER, P/N 22093464, IS THE 1988 ELDORADO AND SEVILLE WASHER FLUID CONTAINER WITHOUT THE HOLE DRILLED IN THE WASHER PUMP CAVITY, REFER TO FIGURE 1.

IN ADDITION, AN INLET STRAINER HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE WASHER FLUID CONTAINER FOR 1989 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES. THE STRAINER, P/N 22063428, CAN BE USED IN ALL PAST MODELS OF ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES THROUGH 1986.

PARTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE ON DECEMBER 5, 1988. UNTIL THEN, NORMAL PART ORDERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY GMSPO. ONLY VERIFIABLE EMERGENCY VIP ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED. SPO WILL MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO OBTAIN PARTS. ALL PARTS WILL BE PLACED ON 400 CONTROL TO WAIVE VIP SURCHARGES. HOWEVER, THE PART WILL BE SHIPPED PREMIUM TRANSPORTATION AT DEALER'S EXPENSE. ALL OTHER ORDER TYPES WILL BE CANCELLED AS INCORRECTLY ORDERED WHILE THE 400 CONTROL IS IN PLACE.
