MODEL: CERTAIN 1993 ELDORADOS AND SEVILLES
A dual cupholder located in the center front console armrest has become standard equipment on all 1993 model Eldorados and Sevilles. Introduction of this feature was delayed until the parts involved were of the highest quality. Consequently, some early production vehicles were built without cupholders.
This Special Policy Adjustment makes the center front console armrest cupholder available at no cost to all first retail owners of affected 1993 model Eldorados and Sevilles as per the Vehicles Involved section of this bulletin.
There is no mileage limitation on the provisions of this Special Policy Adjustment, however, this offer will expire on June 1, 1993 and is limited to first retail owners of involved vehicles. Dealers will perform this service as per the Service Procedure section of this bulletin at no charge to the owner.
All 1993 model Eldorados and Sevilles within the following VIN ranges are eligible for this Special Policy Adjustment:
Eldorado - PU600001 through PU603911 Seville - PU800001 through PU807187

To minimize customer inconvenience and to ensure correct ordering of required parts, customers will be asked to contact their dealer with their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and corresponding part number as provided in the owner notification letter. As the owner of a 1993 model Eldorado or Seville, your continued satisfaction with our products is of the utmost concern to us. This letter is intended to make you aware of a new product feature that may be of value to you.
A dual cupholder located in the center front console armrest has become standard equipment on all 1993 model Eldorados and Sevilles. Introduction of this feature was delayed until the parts involved were of the highest quality. Consequently, some early production vehicles were built without cupholders.
If your vehicle was built without the center front console armrest cupholder, we are extending to you an opportunity to obtain this new product feature at no charge.
You may prefer to retain the additional storage space afforded by your current armrest instead of the cupholder. Therefore, to assist you in deciding whether or not you would like a cupholder, we have provided detailed diagrams showing vehicles with and without this feature on the other side of this letter.
After reviewing these diagrams, if you feel that this new product feature would be of value to you, please contact your Cadillac dealer with your vehicle's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and corresponding part number as indicated at the top of this letter above your name. This information will ensure correct ordering of required parts and hopefully minimize any inconvenience to you. Upon receipt of the parts, your dealer will contact you to arrange a service appointment for installation of the new armrest containing the cupholder.
Although there are no mileage limitations, this "Special Policy Adjustment" offer will expire on June 1, 1993 and is limited to the first retail owner. If you have any questions, please contact your Cadillac dealer or call our Consumer Relations Center at 1-800-458-8006.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
