This bulletin is being revised to update the Correction information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 99-06-01-019 (Section 06 - Engine).
Condition
Some engines may exhibit engine oil leaks along the upper to lower crankcase joint.
Cause
This condition may be caused by scratches, nicks and imperfections in the upper and/or lower crankcases
Correction
If the vehicle exhibits the condition listed above, refer to Corporate Bulletin Number 03-06-01-027 for the repair procedure.
