SOME OWNERS MAY EXPRESS CONCERN OVER A CONDITION WHERE THE WINDSHIELD AND REAR WINDOW REVEAL MOLDING RETAINERS WARP IN HIGH AMBIENT TEMPERATURES. THE CONDITION APPEARS AS SMALL BUMPS OR WAVES UNDER THE PORTION OF THE REVEAL WHICH LAYS ON THE GLASS. THE MOLDING ASSEMBLY IS A TWO PIECE DESIGN CONSISTING OF THE REVEAL, OR OUTWARD PIECE, AND SEVERAL RETAINERS WHICH ATTACH THE ASSEMBLY TO THE GLASS. THE RETAINER UPPER LEG IS THE PORTION WHICH MAY WARP.
TO REPAIR THIS CONDITION, REPLACE THE ENTIRE MOLDING ASSEMBLY WITH THE NEW ONE PIECE MOLDING ASSEMBLY LISTED (SEE FIGURE 1).
