Front Floor Console Compartment Door Latch Replacement for Cadillac Eldorado 2000

1. Remove the console door. Refer to Console Compartment Door Replacement .




Important: Note the spring position for re-assembly.

2. Lift the latch (1) upward in order to remove from the doorplate.

1. Align the latch (1) to the door plate.
2. Ensure the spring position is correct. Tension should be present at the latch.
3. Push downward in order to fasten the latch (1) to the door plate.
4. Install the console door. Refer to Console Compartment Door Replacement .
