Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 262985 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the vacuum line (2) from the release actuator.
  3. Remove the release actuator.
  4. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the park brake lamp switch.
  5. Remove the park brake switch.

Installation procedure

    Object Number: 262985 Size: SH
  1. Install the park brake switch.
  2. Install the electrical connector (1) to the park lamp switch.
  3. Install the release actuator.
  4. Install the release actuator vacuum line (2) to the release actuator.
  5. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
