Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Loosen the park brake adjuster nut.

    3. Object Number: 492729 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable (2) from the park brake cable connector (1).

    4. Object Number: 106181 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable (1) at the adjuster (2).

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the intermediate park brake cable on the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 106181 Size: SH
  2. Connect the intermediate park brake cable (1) to the adjuster (2).

    3. Object Number: 492729 Size: SH
  3. Connect the intermediate park brake cable (2) to the park brake cable connector (1).
  4. Adjust the park brake cable Park Brake Adjustment .
