J 43244 Relay Puller Pliers

1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the washer hose.
3. Disconnect the retention clip securing the cruise control cable.
4. Move aside the cruise control cable.



5. Remove the multi-use relay and fuse bracket cover (1).



6. Remove the electrical tape securing the relays.
7. Using the J 43244 remove the inoperative daytime running lamp (DRL) relay from the multi-use relay and fuse center.
8. Remove the inoperative relay.

1. Using the J 43244 install the new daytime running lamp (DRL) relay to the multi-use relay and fuse center.
2. Install new electrical tape in order to secure the relays.



3. Position the multi-use relay and fuse bracket cover (1) to the bracket.
4. Engage the clips in order to secure the multi-use relay and fuse bracket cover.
5. Position the cruise control cable inside the retention clip on the left strut tower.
6. Secure the retention clip.
7. Connect the washer solvent hose.
8. Close the hood.
