  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Turn the windshield wiper switch to LO.
  3. Turn the windshield wiper switch to HI.
  4. Turn OFF the windshield wiper switch.

Do the windshield wipers operate properly?

  1. Disconnect the windshield wiper switch connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the windshield wiper accessory voltage circuit and a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Connect the windshield wiper switch connector.
  2. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector C2.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the windshield wiper motor ground circuit and battery voltage.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector C1.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the windshield wiper motor low speed circuit and a good ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  2. Connect a test lamp between the windshield wiper motor relay coil supply voltage circuit and a good ground.

  2. Connect a test lamp between the battery positive voltage circuit, terminal A1, and a good ground.
