Removal Procedure

    Caution: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  1. Raise the vehicle.
  2. Loosen and lower the pinch clamp securing the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet hose to the AIR pump.
  3. Remove the clamps securing the AIR pump outlet hose to the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose and the crossover pipe/hose.
  4. Remove the AIR pump outlet hose.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the AIR pump outlet hose.
  2. Install the clamps securing the AIR pump outlet hose to the bank 2 intermediate pipe/hose and the crossover pipe/hose.
  3. Install the AIR pump outlet hose and clamp to the AIR pump.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
