Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 258354  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  4. Disconnect the electronic suspension control module connectors.
  5. Remove the nuts from the electronics bay board.
  6. Tilt the electronics bay board to access the electronic suspension control module.
  7. Remove the electronic suspension control module from the electronics bay board.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 258354  Size: SH
  1. Install the electronic suspension control module in the right electronics bay.
  2. Install the electronics bay board.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the nuts on the electronics bay board.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten two screws to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  6. Connect the electrical connectors to the electronic suspension control module.
  7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  9. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Front Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
  10. Perform the electronic suspension control module calibration. Refer to Electronic Suspension Control Module Calibration .
  11. Inspect the Trim Height. Refer to Trim Height Inspection .
