Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Loosen the park brake cable at the adjuster.

    3. Object Number: 602459 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the left park brake cable (1) from the equalizer (2).
  4. Disconnect the equalizer (2) from the intermediate park brake cable.
  5. Remove the equalizer (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 602459 Size: SH
  1. Connect the left rear park brake cable (1) to the equalizer (2).
  2. Connect the equalizer (2) to the intermediate park brake cable.
  3. Adjust the park brake cable. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment .
  4. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels and Tires.
