Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 295943 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the steering shaft seal (1).
  3. Remove the sensor retainer (2).
  4. Remove the steering wheel position sensor (3). Refer to Steering Wheel Position Sensor Centering .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 295943 Size: SH
  1. Install the steering wheel position sensor (3). Refer to Steering Wheel Position Sensor Centering .
  2. Install the sensor retainer (2).
  3. Install the steering shaft seal (1).
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
