Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2002 🢒 Eldorado 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Automatic 🢒 Auxiliary Blower Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

    2. Object Number: 412409 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor.
  3. Turn over the console assembly.

    4. Object Number: 717363 Size: SH
  4. Remove the three retaining screws (1).

    5. Object Number: 717359 Size: SH
  5. Remove the blower motor assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 717359 Size: SH
  1. Install the blower motor into the console.

    2. Object Number: 717363 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the three retaining screws (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Install the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
