Circuit Description

DTC B1350 is designed in order to disengage the A/C compressor clutch in the event that the coolant temperature exceeds 126°C (258°F). The HVAC control processor receives the coolant temperature information from the PCM through the class 2 serial data bus. While DTC B1350 is current, the instrument panel cluster (IPC) displays ENGINE HOT and displays A/C COMPRESSOR OFF on the driver information center (DIC).
