J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Remove the vacuum control solenoid valve. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Replacement in Engine Controls 4.6 L.
3. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater inlet pipe (1) using the J 38185 .



4. Remove the heater pipe clamp bolts (1).



5. Remove the heater pipe clamp bolt (4).
6. Disconnect the heater hose (3) from the heater inlet pipe.
7. Remove the heater hose.

1. Install the heater pipe (1) into position.



2. Connect the heater hoses to the heater inlet pipe using the J 38185 .



3. Install the bracket bolts (1).
4. Install the bracket and bolt (4).
5. Connect the heater hoses.
6. Install the vacuum control solenoid valve. Refer to Secondary Air Injection Vacuum Control Solenoid Valve Replacement in Engine Controls 4.6 L.
7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling in Engine Cooling.
