The SIR scan tool data definitions contain a brief description of all SIR related parameters available on the scan tool. The parameters that are available on the scan tool are listed below in alphabetical order.

ADS A/D: The Inflatable Restraint Front End Discriminating Sensor (ADS) is a sensor which is calibrated to supply a signal to the SDM when the vehicle changes are severe enough to warrant deployment. The scan tool displays 2-3 volts.

Calibration/Platform ID: The scan tool displays a 4 digit number. This calibration ID is the check sum of the SDM read only memory contents.

Calibration Rev, Level: The scan tool displays a 2 digit number. This calibration Rev, Level shows the revision or level of software use by the SDM.

Component Serial Number: The scan tool displays the serial number of the SDM.

Driver Energy Reserve: The scan tool displays 0-30 Volts. The SDM measures the voltage of the driver frontal energy reserve capacitors inside the SDM and displays it as Driver Energy Reserve.

Driver Seat Belt Status: The scan tool displays Buckled or Unbuckled. The signal from the drivers seat belt switch indicates whether the driver seat belt is buckled or unbuckled.

Driver Senselo: The scan tool displays 0-20 Volts. The SDM measures the voltage of the driver frontal low terminal voltage and displays it as Driver Senselo.

Driver VDIF: The scan tool displays 0-500 Millivolts. The SDM measures the difference between driver frontal high and driver frontal low to determine voltage differential.

Ignition 1 Voltage: The scan tool displays 0-20 Volts. The Ignition represents the system voltage measured by the SDM at its ignition feed.

Ignition Cycles Lamp OFF: The scan tool displays 0-125 Cycles. The ignition cycles with the warning lamp OFF.

Ignition Cycles Lamp ON: The scan tool displays 0-125 Cycles. The ignition cycles with the warning lamp ON.

Julian Date of Build: The scan tool displays a 3 digit number. An example would be 723. 723 is July 23 which is day 204 based on the Julian Calendar.

Lamp Continuous ON Time: The scan tool displays 0-182 Hours. The SDM measures the continuous warning lamp ON time.

Passenger Energy Reserve: The scan tool displays 0-30 Volts. The SDM measures the voltage of the passenger frontal energy reserve capacitors inside the SDM and displays it as Passenger Energy Reserve.

Passenger Senselo: The scan tool displays 0-20 Volts. The SDM measures the voltage of the passenger frontal low terminal voltage and displays it as Passenger Senselo.

Passenger VDIF: The scan tool displays 0-500 Millivolts. The SDM measures the difference between passenger frontal high and driver frontal low terminals to determine voltage differential.

ROM ID: The scan tool displays a 4 digit number. This number is the read-only memory (ROM) ID.

Year Model Built: The scan tool displays what year the module was built.
