Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 604131  Size: SH

    Important: The front seat track cover tabs break easily.

  1. Remove the front seat track covers (1).
  2. Move the seat at the midway position.
  3. Remove the seat anchor bolts.
  4. Raise and support the seat.

  5. Object Number: 593292  Size: SH
  6. Cut the tie strap securing the electrical connector to the seat electrical harness.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  8. Carefully guide the electrical connector from underneath the seat cushion frame.

  9. Object Number: 593295  Size: SH
  10. Remove the nut.
  11. Remove the buckle assembly from the seat track assembly and seat cushion guide loop.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 593295  Size: SH
  1. Install the buckle assembly up through the seat cushion guide loop and to the seat track stud.
  2. Carefully guide the electrical connector back through the seat cushion near the recliner hinge.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the nut.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).

  6. Connect the electrical connector.
  7. Secure the electrical harness with a new tie strap.
  8. Lower the seat.

  9. Object Number: 604131  Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the seat track covers (2) are attached to the rear of the seat track.

  10. Install the seat anchor bolts.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the anchor bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  12. Move the seat rearward.
  13. Install the front seat track covers (1).
  14. Reposition the seat.
