Resetting Procedure

Follow this procedure to reset the GM Oil Life System ™:

  1. Turn the ignition to Run but with the engine off.
  2. Display the OIL LIFE LEFT message by repeatedly pressing the SKIP INFO button.
  3. Press the NO INFO RESET button until the display shows 100% ENGINE OIL LIFE.

    4. This resets the oil life index.

  4. Turn the ignition OFF.
