Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 367539  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the fuel filler solenoid.
  3. Disengage the wiring harness retainers.
  4. Remove the fuel filler door release solenoid.
  5. Remove the nut that retains the lower portion of the diagonal brace to the vehicle.
  6. Remove the nut (2) that retains the upper portion of the diagonal brace.
  7. Remove the support brace from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 367539  Size: SH
  1. Install the support brace to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nuts (2) in order to retain the diagonal support brace.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  5. Install the fuel filler solenoid.
  6. Connect the electrical connector.
  7. Engage the wiring harness retainers.
  8. Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
