Emergency Release Lever Check

Inspect the operation of the front seat emergency release lever as follows in either the In-Vehicle Check or Out Of-Vehicle Check. Inspect the emergency release lever by lifting the lever to the full up position, then release the lever.

The lever must return to the full-down position with no evidence of binding or interference. Replace the inertia lock assembly, where required.

Repeat the inspection after the installation.

In-Vehicle Check
