J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.



3. Remove the speakers. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
4. Perform the following steps in order to remove the water deflector (1) :

4.1.	Use the J 38778 in order to remove the push in retainers (2).

4.2.	Peel the deflector (1) from the door inner panel.

4.3.	Carefully guide the electrical connectors through the slit in the water deflector.

4.4.	Finish removing the water deflector (1) from the door (3).

1. Install the push in retainers (2) to the upper portion of the water deflector (1).
2. The retainer serves as a guide in order to position the water deflector (1) on the door panel.
3. Carefully guide the electrical connectors through the slits in the water deflector.

Notice: Proper sealing is necessary in order to prevent water entry into the door and possible damage to inner door components.

4. Attach the water deflector (1) to the rest of the door panel.
5. Use a waterproof tape in order to secure any loose areas of the water deflector (1).
6. Install the speakers. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Lower Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
