Removal Procedure
  1. Open the rear compartment lid.

    2. Object Number: 657997 Size: SH
  2. Remove the four bumper filler fasteners (3).
  3. Pull the filler rearward and upward in order to disengage the center filler from the outer tail lamp filler flanges.
  4. Remove the center bumper filler panel (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 657997 Size: SH
  1. Install the bumper filler panel to the vehicle.
  2. Ensure the center filler clips engage to the outer filler flange.
  3. Center (A) the center filler between the outer tail lamp fillers.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the fasteners (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  5. Close the rear compartment lid.
