Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the console compartment door. Refer to Console Compartment Door Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 443214 Size: SH
  2. Remove the fasteners (2) retaining the door plate (1) to the console bracket.
  3. Remove the door plate (1).
  4. Remove the latch from the door plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Door Latch Replacement .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the latch to the door plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Door Latch Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 519679 Size: SH
  2. Install the door plate to the console bracket.

    3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the door plate fasteners (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the console compartment door. Refer to Console Compartment Door Replacement .
