Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 604112  Size: SH
  1. Open the driver door.
  2. Remove the close-out insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the memory mirror module (MMM) (1).
  4. Release the locking tab (2) in order to remove the module (1).
  5. Slide the (MMM) rearward in order to remove from the bracket.

  7. Remove the fasteners (3) from the (MMM) bracket (1).
  8. Remove the bracket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 655588  Size: SH
  1. Install the (MMM) bracket (1) to the instrument panel.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fasteners (3).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Slide the (MMM) module (1) into the bracket.
  6. Ensure the locking tab (2) is secure.
  7. Connect the electrical connector (3).
  8. Install the close-out insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and console.
  9. Close the driver door.
