Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the right front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Support the engine assembly with a suitable jack.

  4. Object Number: 644881  Size: SH
  5. Remove the nuts (2) securing the transmission mount to the engine frame.
  6. Remove the two nuts securing the mount (1) to the mount bracket.
  7. Raise the jack allowing the engine/Transmission assembly to raise slightly.
  8. Remove the mount (1) .

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 644881  Size: SH
  1. Position the mount (1) to the mount bracket.
  2. Install the mount (1)attaching nuts to the mount bracket.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the two nuts securing the mount (1) to the bracket.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts (2) to 50 N·m (36 lb ft).

  6. Lower the engine/transmission assembly into position.
  7. Install the two nuts (2)securing the mount to the frame.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the mount nuts to 50 N·m (36 lb ft).

  9. Remove the engine support jack.
  10. Install the right front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
