Removal Procedure

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Remove the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the IP cluster to access the connector. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.

  3. Object Number: 423252  Size: SH
  4. Remove the module (3) by detaching the mounting pin from the mounting hole.
  5. Remove the module from the harness connector.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 423252  Size: SH

    Important: Ensure that the retainer is installed correctly on the coolant module.

  1. Install the coolant module (3) to the harness connector.
  2. Attach the pin to the mounting hole in order to install the module.
  3. Install the IP cluster to the IP. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  4. Install the battery negative cable.
