The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, a SES light may be experienced due to a DTC P1682. This DTC may set anytime a low battery condition is present.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the cause of this concern is not isolated after following the SI diagnostics, and if you pass the system verification test with No Trouble Found. Please do not attempt any repair. This DTC may been have falsely set due to a previous low battery condition.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
