The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may state the analog clock (in the center of the I/P Carrier) on their 2007-2008 Cadillac Escalade is loose or rattling over bumps.
Recommendation/Instructions:
To correct this concern, remove the analog clock and place a piece of one side foam tape on the right and left edges of the I/P carrier where the clock was located. This will tighten up the gap between the clock and the I/P carrier.
Please review the drawing below that shows the location of the tape with the clock removed.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
