The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Some customers may state that the passenger's front window will still operate from the passengers switch when the window lock out feature is activated on the drivers switch. The customer will state the rear windows will lockout correctly.
This feature prevents the rear passenger windows from operating from the door switches in the rear only. The drivers and passenger front windows will not be disabled when the lock out switch is activated. Please do not replace any of the door modules or the BCM to try to repair this concern. This is the normal design intent of the vehicle.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
