The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some owners may comment that they are unable to set a personalized curb view assist mirror position and it will only move down a predetermined amount.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Unlike the previous model years, the new 2007-2008 Utilities and Pickups move the mirror glass down approximately 7 degrees when shifted into reverse and curb view assist is turned on in the DIC. Please advise any owner with this concern of the new operating characteristic.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
