The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When performing diagnosis or repairs on any 2007-2008 Cadillac Model Escalade or Escalade EXT & ESV equipped with Heated and Cooled seat. Only use the diagnostic procedures currently available in SI2000.

Some Tech 2 software versions were pre-released with Climate Control Seat Module (CCSM) software which has Data, Diagnostic Trouble Codes, and device controls for the CCSM. These items were pre-released and not fully developed. Using any of the information in the Tech 2 that is related to the CCSM may cause false diagnostic results and unwanted replacement of parts. Only use the diagnostic procedures in SI2000.

Note: The heated/cooled switch inputs that are listed in the Drivers Position Module are working correctly and can be utilized if called out in SI2000 diagnostics.

This PI will be updated when correct operation software is available

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
