Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the body side trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Remove the liftgate close actuator motor control module. Refer to Liftgate Close Actuator Motor Control Module Replacement.
  3. Remove the accessory and liftgate control module, if required. Refer to Accessory and Liftgate Control Module Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
30 N·m (22 lb ft)
